My first official “throw together meal”. There is a small story to this recipe so if you go to the About page you can read more of where it came from. All I can really say is…easy, quick, and what kids don’t like hot dogs.

6 Potatoes
2 tablespoons oil
Onion, chopped (optional)
4-5 Hot Dogs
¼ cup ketchup
½ to 1 tablespoon mustard (optional)

Peel and slice potatoes into approximately eighth inch slices. Put oil in large small stockpot and heat. Add potatoes (and onion if desired). Cut hot-dogs into about 1-inch sections. Put into pot with potatoes when they are almost done. When hot dogs are heated and browned, add ketchup and mustard (adjust as desired). When everything is heated put in bowl and serve.
