Those peaches that you bought last week, that you need to eat now or they’ll be bad in a couple of days or you just want some good old fashion crisp but can’t eat the carbs or sugar? I just had to do something wonderful with those peaches that were in the frig and my hubby deserved something sweet that I could eat too. I don’t know what it did to my blood sugar yet but it shouldn’t be too bad and wow it’s wonderful. Never missed the white flour and the brown sugar Splenda is great substitute for white sugar.
4 large peaches
5 tablespoons brown sugar Splenda
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup quick oats
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup margarine or butter, softened

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Blanch peaches to remove skins, slice and remove pit. Arrange in sprayed square glass pan, either 8 x 8 x 2 inches, or 10 x 6 x 2 inches. Mix remaining ingredients; sprinkle over peaches.

Bake about 30  to 35 minutes, until hot and bubbly. Let sit for about 5 minutes. Serve warm and top with no carb/no sugar whip cream.

I’m sure you can substitute apples, can of cherries or even apricots instead of peaches.
